General description

Chloramben is a chlorinated, ammonium or sodium salt based, pre-emergence herbicide used to control a broad spectrum of weeds in vegetable and field crops. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of seedling root development in plants.

Application

Chloramben may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in water samples using liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection (LC-EC).
