General description

Tracy 645 is a newly developed NIR fluorescent dye. The spectral range above 650 nm is of particular interest in biology analysis and imaging due to the reduced background and improved sensitivity.
Tracy 645 is a highly water-soluble and stable dye.

    The term "activated" in Tracy Product 42445 and 42454 refers to the presence of a succinimidyl ester group that facilitates coupling of the dye to proteins.

  6. Do you have fluorescence data for this Tracy dye for buffers or pH values other than 0.1 M Phosphate at 7.0?

    Unfortunately, we do not have fluorescence data for other buffers or pH conditions in our product files.

  7. In what solvents will this Tracy dye dissolve?

    For quality control testing of Products 42445, 42454, we prepare a solutuion of 2 mg/ml in DMF. For use in labeling proteins, we recommend dissolving the dye at 5 mg/ml in DMSO.
