Fluoresceinamine is used for the following applications:
- Preparation of fluorescence-labeled APS and dextran
- Fluorescence-tagged λ-Carrageenan
- 1251-labelled polysaccharide binding
Two isomers are produced by the usual synthesis. Most publications imply they are interchangeable when used for the preparation of the isothiocyanate for fluorescent labeling.
