Analysis Note
Atto-Mono 2 is a cell permeable monomer. In aqeous solution it does not show significant fluorescence. In presence of DNA it shows a bright fluorescence with quantum yield above 25%. Maximum of absorption lies at 515 nm, exctinction coefficient 68500 M-1cm-1. Maximum of emission shifts from 538 nm to 610 nm if bound to DNA.
