General description
ADAMT5 is a member of the family of ADAMTs proteins that contain 3 specific domains: MMP, disintegrin, and a thrombospondin type-1 domain. ADAMT5 is highly expressed in cartilage.
By immunoblotting against the reduced protein, the antibody identifies the zymogen form at 120 kDa, activated form at 73 kDa (major band), and breakdown products at 50 kDa and 40 kDa in cell lysates.
Rabbit Anti-ADAMTS-5, C-terminal antibody binds to the C-terminus of human ADAMTS-5.
Immunogen
synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of human ADAMTS-5.
Application
Rabbit Anti-ADAMTS-5, C-Terminal antibody can be used for western blot applications at a dilution of 1:1,000.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide.
