Gene Information

human ... FOSL1(8061)

General description

FOSL1 has been identified as a transcriptional target of c-Fos during the differentiation of osteoclasts. Furthermore, FOSL1 functions as a downstream effector of PI3K/AKT signaling and regulates trophoblast development during the establishment of maternal-fetal interfaces.
Rabbit Anti-FOSL1 antibody recognizes bovine, human, mouse, rat, and canine FOSL1.

Immunogen

The immunogen for anti-FOSL1 antibody: synthetic peptide derected towards the middle region of human FOSL1

Application

Rabbit Anti-FOSL1 antibody can be used for western blot ( 0.5μg/ml) and immunohistochemical (4-8μg/ml) assays.

Physical form

Lyophilized from PBS buffer with 2% sucrose

Osteoclasts are bone-resorbing cells derived from haematopoietic precursors of the monocyte-macrophage lineage. Mice lacking Fos (encoding c-Fos) develop osteopetrosis due to an early differentiation block in the osteoclast lineage. c-Fos is a component of the dimeric transcription factor activator protein-1
