Biochem/physiol Actions
HAGH (hydroxyacylglutathione hydrolase) encodes an enzyme that belongs to glyoxalase II family and is expressed in liver and kidney. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of S-D-lactoyl-glutathione to form glutathione and D-lactic acid.
