General description
Cefpirome is a bactericidal antibiotic, which belongs to the fourth generation of cephalosporins. It shows a broad spectrum of activity against gram positive and gram negative bacteria.
Application
4th generation cephalosporin antibacterial.
Cefpirome may be used as a reference standard in the determination of cefpirome in pharmaceutical formulations and human plasma samples using reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC).
