The antibody is specific for the β subunit of HCG. Typical cross-reactivities observed with LH, FSH, and TSH are less than 0.3% in RIA.

Preparation Note

Dilute with buffer: 0.01 M phosphate, pH 7.8, 0.15 M sodium chloride, 0.5% bovine serum albumin and 15 mM sodium azide.
