Regenerated cellulose beads with a high degree of porosity. The beads have exceptional properties for use as gel filtration media:
- excellent flow characteristics under pressure
- stable over pH range 1-14 and in high salt
- volume change no more than ±1% over entire pH/ionic strength range
- autoclavable (resists 120 °C, 1 hr at pH 7)
