Electrophoresis film is a flexible, transparent polyester film specifically designed to support polyacrylamide gels. Ideal for casting horizontal IEF gels. One side has been treated with a hydrophilic coating which enhances adhesion with aqueous polyacrylamide gel media. The acrylamide monomers covalently attach to the coating during polymerization. Gels remain attached during electrophoresis, staining and drying.
