General description
Extracellular domain of mouse ephrin-B1 (amino acids 1-229) is fused to the C-terminal 6X histidine-tagged Fc region of human IgG1.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Member of the ephrin ligand family that binds Eph receptor tyrosine kinases (EphA3, EphB1, EphB2, EphB3, and EphB4). Involved in pattern formation and morphogenesis. Ephrin-B1 is involved in integrin-mediated endothelial cell migration and attachment.
Physical form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline.
Analysis Note
The biological activity is measured by its ability to bind recombinant mouse EphB3/Fc in ELISA.
