The MCS includes restriction sites for BamHI, BglII, EcoRI, NotI, PstI, SmaI, XbaI, and XmaIII. The two vectors, pVL1392 and pVL1393 have their MCS in opposite orientations to simplify subcloning.
Features and Benefits
9.8-kb Supercoiled vectors that contain recombination sequences homologous to the baculovirus genome. This allows the cloned gene to replace the baculovirus wild-type AcNPV polyhedrin gene; thus, protein expression is controlled by the polyhedrin promoter.
