General description
Good′s buffers are a set of 20 buffers that were prepared by Good et al. They are useful in biological and biochemical research. These buffers, which are zwitter-ionic compounds, have a pKa value between 6 and 8. Good′s buffers have low toxicity, are highly water-soluble, stable against pH changes, have hydrolytic and enzymatic stability and have less effects on biochemical reactions.
