General description
LTBR (lymphotoxin β receptor) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily, which also includes LTα and LTβ. It is expressed on stromal, parenchymal and myeloid cells. It is a part of the noncanonical/canonical nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) signaling pathway.
Application
Anti-LTBR antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Lymphotoxin β receptor signaling serves pleiotropic functions including the control of lymphoid organ development and support of efficient immune responses against pathogens. LTBR signaling induces chemokine, cytokine or adhesion molecule expression, cell proliferation and cell survival. LTBR is important for development and organization of the secondary lymphoid tissues and its polymorphisms may be associated with risk of IgA nephropathy (IgAN).

The cytokines lymphotoxin (LT) alpha, beta and their receptor (LTbetaR) belong to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily, whose founder-TNFalpha-was initially discovered due to its tumor necrotizing activity. LTbetaR signaling serves pleiotropic functions including the control of lymphoid organ development

Lymphotoxin beta receptor (LTBR) is essential for development and organization of the secondary lymphoid tissues. To investigate whether LTBR polymorphisms are associated with IgA nephropathy (IgAN) in Korean children, One hundred ninety nine patients with IgAN and 289 controls were
