Biochem/physiol Actions
The ATP Assay Kit is a sensitive assay for determining ATP in various samples (ranging from 2 – 10 nmole/well for the colorimetric assay and from 20 – 1,000 pmole/well for the fluorometric assay). ATP concentration is determined by phosphorylating glycerol, resulting in a colorimetric (570 nm) or fluorometric (λex = 535/λem = 587 nm) product proportional to the amount of ATP present.
