General description
N,N′,N′-Polyoxyethylene (10)-N-tallow-1,3-diaminopropane (EDTA-20) is a cationic detergent.
Application
N,N′,N′-Polyoxyethylene (10)-N-tallow-1,3-diaminopropane has been used in a study to demonstrate that PC2 facilitates the activation of transcription by GAL4-AH. It has also been used in a study to investigate optimum in vitro excystation of Notocotylus attenuatus. It is also useful for extraction of enzymes from microbial cells.
Preparation Note
Recommended usage: 1 ml per 100 grams wet cell weight buffered at pH 7.3-8.0.
