Gene Information
rabbit ... CDC25a(993)
Immunogen
The epitope recognized by PLA0021 maps to a region between residues 250 and 300 of human Cell Division Cycle 25A using the numbering given in entry NP_001780.2 (GeneID 993).
Physical form
Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 7 to 8 containing 0.09% sodium azide
Other Notes
CDC25a is a member of the CDC25 family of protein phosphatases. CDC25 is involved in promoting the G1 to S phase as well as the G2 to M phase transition of the cell cycle by removing inhibitory phosphates from tyrosine and threonine residues of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). CDC25a is an oncogene and has been found to be overexpressed in a subset of human cancers.
