General description
Kit is designed to remove all enterokinase (as judged by antigenic or enzymatic activity assays). This is accomplished by binding with immobilized rabbit antibodies to calf intestine enterokinase followed by spin filtration.
Application
For removal of enterokinase by immunoaffinity from fusion protein cleavage reaction mixtures. 100 μl of a 50% slurry of the anti-enterokinase-agarose can remove at least 7 μg of bovine enterokinase or 1 μg of recombinant catalytic subunit.
Preparation Note
Dilute required amount of 20X Wash Buffer 1:20 in distilled water.

Prostasin, a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored serine protease, regulates epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) activity. Sodium reabsorption through ENaC in distal nephron segments is a rate-limiting step in transepithelial sodium transport. Recently, proteolytic cleavage of ENaC subunits by prostasin has been shown to activate

As obligatory parasites, viruses co-opt a variety of cellular functions for robust replication. The expression of the nonsegmented negative-strand RNA genome of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), a significant pediatric pathogen, absolutely requires actin and is stimulated by the actin-regulatory protein
