Biochem/physiol Actions

The antibody reacts with an epitope on the heavy chain of rat IgG1. The product shows 50% cross-reactivity with IgG2c, but does not cross-react with other rat immunoglobulins. The product cross-reacts with bovine, dog, goat and horse immunoglobulins, and weakly with guinea pig immunoglobulins. No cross-reactivity is observed with rat light chains or with the IgG of other species.
