General description
Liver-specific ZP domain-containing protein (OIT3) is a liver-specific protein involved possibly in hepatocellular function and development. Oncoprotein induced transcript 3 (OIT3) is also known as liver-specific zona pellucida domain-containing protein and is composed of 545 amino acid residues. It is expressed in the liver and secreted into the blood. OIT3 possesses a D8C (domain with conserved eight cysteines) domain, an amino-terminal signal peptide and three epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domains. The cDNA of the protein consists of 2,255bp. The gene encoding OIT3 is localized on human chromosome 10q21.3, spans 40kb and has nine exons.
Immunogen
OIT3 (NP_689848, )
This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a GST tag human OIT3 recombinant protein.
This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a GST tag human OIT3 recombinant protein.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Oncoprotein induced transcript 3 (OIT3) may have a role in liver development and function. It has been shown to be downregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma.
