Gene Information
human ... RND1(27289)
General description
RND1, a Rho GTPase, belongs to the family Rnd. The gene is located on human chromosome 12q13.12.
Immunogen
RND1 purified recombinant protein
Biochem/physiol Actions
Rho family GTPase 1 (RND1) regulates actin cytoskeleton in several cell types. It is implicated in the Sema3E/plexin-D1-induced inhibition of axon outgrowth in cortical neurons. RND1 plays an important role in plexin signaling. It modulates the dynamics of cell growth and survival. Dysregulation of RND1 is associated with tumorigenesis.
