General description
Monoclonal Anti-PPIAL4 (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the hybridoma PP-8 produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from BALB/c mice. Peptidyl-Prolyl cis-trans isomerase A-like 4A/B/C (PPIAL4B) is a novel member of the cyclosporin-binding peptidyl-prolyl isomerase family.
The gene PPIAL4A (peptidylprolyl isomerase A like 4A) is mapped to human chromosome 1q21.
Immunogen
a recombinant protein of human PPIAL4B
Application
Monoclonal Anti-PPIAL4 antibody produced in mouse may be used in immunoblotting.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Monoclonal Anti-PPIAL4 recognizes human PPIAL4B.
PPIAL4A (peptidylprolyl isomerase A like 4A) is a propyl isomerase which is required for folding of the proteins. In bone and soft tissue tumor, PPIAL4A exhibits high copy number.
Peptidyl-Prolyl cis-trans isomerase A-like 4A/B/C (PPIAL4B) is over-expressed almost exclusively in aggressive metastatic or chemotherapy-resistant tumors. Elevated levels of PPIAL4B are observed in bladder cancer, hepatocellular carcinomas, breast carcinomas and sarcomas.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
Preparation Note
For continuous use, store at 2–8 °C for up to one month. For extended storage, freeze in working aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. If slight turbidity occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify the solution by centrifugation before use. Working dilution samples should be discarded if not used within 12 hours.
