General description
The gene coding for potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily A regulatory β subunit 3 (KCNAB3) is mapped to human chromosome 17p13.1. Human Kvβ3 transcript is mainly expressed in the brain, with high expression levels in cerebellum.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human KCNAB3.
Immunogen Range: 293-342
Immunogen Range: 293-342
Biochem/physiol Actions
Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily A regulatory β subunit 3 (KCNAB3) is involved in migraine pathogenesis.2 Kvβ3 expressed along with Kv1.5 in Chinese hamster ovary cells gives rise to a new A-type potassium channel.
