Biochem/physiol Actions

SPA0355 inhibits cytokine and LPS-induced activation of NF-kB in cell-based assays, blocking IKK-2 phosphorylation, degradation, and p65 binding to DNA. In vivo, SPA0355 inhibits paw edema and joint destruction in a mouse collagen induced arthritis model.
SPA0355 is a NF-kB pathway inhibitor.
