Biochem/physiol Actions

3-MFA is a mefenamic acid analog that blocks the transient receptor potential melastatin 2 (TRPM2) channel.
3-MFA is a mefenamic acid analog that blocks the transient receptor potential melastatin 2 (TRPM2) channel. Unlike other TRPM2 blockers such as 2-APB and flufenamic acid, 2-APB does not induce release of calcium from intracellular stores.
