Biochem/physiol Actions

CC4 is a a partial agonist of α4β2 and α6β2 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors with low affinity for α3β4 and α7 containing receptors. CC4 reduces nicotine-induced self-administration and conditioned place preference without affecting motor functions.
