Biochem/physiol Actions
B355252 is a neuroprotective agent that potentiates nerve growth factor (NGF)-induced neurite outgrowth and protects against cell death caused by glutamate-evoked oxidative stress.
B355252 is a neuroprotective agent that potentiates nerve growth factor (NGF)-induced neurite outgrowth and protects against cell death caused by glutamate-evoked oxidative stress. In a murine hippocampal neuronal cell line, B355252 increased cell viability and protected against cell death caused by glutamate-induced toxicity, inhibiting glutamate-evoked increase in intracellular Ca2+ and ROS production.
