General description

A multifunctional azide-TAMRA-biotin as a proteome-wide tool; Trifunctional click chemistry probe that contain a ligation handle, a biotin and a fluorophore.
The trifunctional TAMRA-Azide-Biotin capture reagent combines three functional elements: an azide group for selective reaction, TAMRA for fluorescence-based visualization, and biotin for efficient isolation. The azide group targets alkyne-modified molecules within cells, enabling specific binding to desired molecular targets. TAMRA illuminates these targets, allowing researchers to track their location and concentration, thus shedding light on cellular dynamics. Biotin, as the binding affinity molecule, facilitates the subsequent isolation or analysis of these targets, especially when used with streptavidin or avidin-coated surfaces. The hydrophilic PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous solutions. This integration of reaction specificity, visualization, and isolation capabilities makes TAMRA-Azide-Biotin invaluable for experiments that require detailed detection and analysis of specific cellular components, such as protein interaction studies or real-time monitoring of cellular processes. Abs/Em ~ 545/565 nm.
