General description
Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor II (TNF RII) is a 75kD transmembrane glycoprotein expressed mainly on endothelial cells, macrophages, Langerhans cells and monocytes. It has a crucial role in regulating TNF α function by antagonizing its biological activity that is by blocking TNF-α-induced apoptosis. Anti-Tumor Necrosis Factor Soluble Receptor II (TNF sRII) antibody can be used in western blotting. Goat anti-Tumor Necrosis Factor Soluble Receptor II antibody reacts specifically with mouse TNF sRII. This antibody has also shown less than 15% cross-reactivity for recombinant human TNF-sRII.
