Electroporator, EC100

The EC100 electroporator is compact, versatile, and economical. Three optimized preset voltages make this unit perfect for prokaryotic and eukaryotic transformations. Just load and insert the disposable cuvette, close the safety cover, select the setting, and push the red button. An audible and visible signal indicates that the pulse has been delivered. With a recharge time of less than 10 seconds, the unit will be ready again by the time you′ve loaded the next cuvette.
Recommended voltage/cuvette combinations:

• Mammalian: 400 V, 4-mm cuvette = 1.0 kV/cm
• Bacteria: 1800 V, 1-mm cuvette = 18 kV/cm or 2800 V, 2-mm cuvette = 14 kV/cm
