General description
Features a sleek, new design with up-to-date electronics and the latest optical components. Measures absorbance or transmittance over a range of 325-1100 nm and can be programmed to print out concentrations. Uses 10 mm square cuvettes or 10 mm test tubes. Includes single-position cell holder, 5 disposable cuvettes, RS-232C interface, Centronics-compatible printer port, dust cover, and owner′s manual. 100-240 V compatible.
Genesys 20 spectrophotometer may be used in validating the total phenolic content of pulp and peels of bananas via determining the absorbance of the samples using Folin–Ciocalteu colorimetric reagent.
