General description
TPP Tissue Culture Test Plates are designed for consistent, high-quality cell culture and microscopy. Air vents in the base of each plate allow uniform airflow between stacked plates, ensuring even temperature distribution and preventing condensation. The absolutely flat, well-only treated growth surface promotes uniform cell growth without clumping, while crystal-clear transparency delivers excellent imaging quality. Alpha-numerical labeling between wells and color-coded markings on the lids ensure correct orientation and easy identification during experiments. Available in 6, 12, 24, 48, and 96-well formats, TPP plates stack securely, feature textured grips to prevent accidental lid removal, and offer F-base (flat) or U-base (U-bottom) geometries for 96-well plates. Perfect for reproducible tissue culture, microscopy, and high-throughput applications in research and industry.
F-base (flat bottom):
U-base (round bottom):
- Manufactured according to ANSI/SBS-3d-standards
- Standardized with an interleaved barcode 2/5
- White base colour is embossed firmly on the test plate; loss of identification through detachment is excluded
- 2 well geometries available: F-base and U-base
F-base (flat bottom):
- Excellent optical characteristics
- Suitable for precise optical measurements the measuring light is not distracted by the geometry-as well as microscopy applications
U-base (round bottom):
- No rims well suited for pipetting
- Used for agglutination tests and „+/-„ evaluations
Features and Benefits
- Air vents in the base provide consistent airflow between stacked plates.
- Flat growth surface promotes uniform cell growth without clumping.
- Crystal-clear transparency ensures high-quality microscopy images.
- Treated only on well bottoms to enhance cell attachment and proliferation.
- Yellow marking areas on lid and plate ensure correct lid orientation.
- Ridged and textured grip areas allow secure handling and prevent accidental lid removal.
- Alpha-numerical labeling between wells supports easy orientation during microscopy.
- Secure stacking across all plate sizes (6, 12, 24, 48, 96 wells).96-well plates available in F-base (flat) or U-base (U-bottom) geometries.
- Sloped edges ensure lids fit in one correct position only.

Metabolic rewiring is a hallmark of cancer that supports tumor growth, survival, and chemotherapy resistance. Although normal cells often rely on extracellular serine and glycine supply, a significant subset of cancers becomes addicted to intracellular serine/glycine synthesis, offering an attractive
