General description
Amberlyst 15, a macro reticular polystyrene based ion exchange resin with strongly acidic sulfonic group, serves as an excellent source of strong acid. It can also be used several times. Amberlyst 15 is a heat sensitive resin which can be used as a catalyst.
Application
Amberlyst® 15 may be used:
- as column packing material for HPLC analysis
- in separation media for TLC, paper and LPL chromatography
Strongly acidic cation exchange resin used as a heterogeneous acid catalysis; suitable for non-aqueous catalysis.
