Dowex Monosphere 650C is a strong basic cation exchange gel resin with sulfonic acid as functional group. Esterification of acetic acid with propyl alcohol over heterogeneous catalyst, Dowex Monosphere 650C, has been reported.

Application

Dowex Monosphere 650C UPW hydrogen form packed column was used in flow based ammonia gas analyzer.
Strongly acidic cation exchange resin capable of demineralization for ultrapure water; meets requirements of FDA Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 173.25.
