General description
The SeQuant® ZIC®-HILIC capillary columns have a zwitterionic stationary phase covalently attached to porous silica. The permanent and hydrophilic zwitterion functionality makes the column suitable for Hydrophilic Interaction LiquidChromatography (HILIC). The capillary and microbore columns (0.3–1.0 mm I.D.) are made from stainless steel that has been internally glass lined and has 10–32 UNF female fittings. The frits have a porosity to retain 3–5 μm particles and are made from stainless steel.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products. This product is a Design for Sustainability (DfS) developed product, which belongs to one of the four categories of greener alternatives. Click here to view its DfS scorecard.
Preparation Note
Store columns as shipped: Acetonitrile/5 mM ammoniumacetate, pH 6.8; 80 : 20 (v/v). Dispose the column according to local authorities andregulations
Analysis Note
These columns are designed for excellent HPLC and LC-MS separation of polar, hydrophilic compounds. SeQuant® ZIC®-HILIC, with sulfobetaine functional groups, provides weak ionic interactions for maximum selectivity, high loadability and easy optimization of methods.
