General description
Vials are suitable basically to inject samples from an autosampler. They are available in various sizes, although 2 mL vials are more commonly used. Autosampler needle pierces through the cap during injection and withdraws the required aliquots of sample from the vials. Screw top vials (marking spot, volume 2 mL, vial O.D. × H. 12 mm × 32 mm) are used on many autosamplers with a standard opening of 4.6 mm. The threads on the standard vials are 8-425.
