General description

Sigma-Aldrich offers an extensive line of Fluka and Supelco brand neats and single-component solutions for a variety of applications that include, but are not limited to, environmental, food and beverage, forensics, petrochemical and pharmaceutical analyses. 4-Nitrophenol may find applications as an intermediate in fine chemicals, most commonly used in pesticides, medicines, and dyes. It can also undergo reduction with sodium borohydride, to form 4-aminophenol, an industrially important precursor compound.
