Application

2,4,6-Tribromophenol is used as a certified reference standard for the determination of the analyte in multiple solid formulation drug products using gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
2,4,6-Tribromophenol has been used as an internal standard in the determination of chlorophenols in water samples using gas chromatography coupled with an electron-capture detector (GC). It has also been used as internal standard in the study of aerobic biodegradation of the pollutant pentachlorophenol in activated soil using high performance liquid chromatography method (HPLC) of analysis.

Other Notes

This Certified Reference Material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO 17034 and ISO/IEC 17025. All information regarding the use of this CRM can be found on the certificate of analysis.
