General description

N-Nitrosodimethylamine is a potent carcinogen, which can be formed in conditions of wastewater disinfection process, via the reaction between monochloramine and organic nitrogen-containing precursors.

Application

N-Nitrosodimethylamine may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in aqueous samples using different chromatography techniques.
