General description
Discovery BIO GFC particles are made of a uniform, nanometer thick hydrophilic film chemically bonded to high purity silica. The 5 micron spherical silica particles of the Discovery BIO GFC packings for 100, 150, 300, 500, 1000 and 2000 have nominal pore sizes at 100, 150, 300, 500, 1000, and 2000 Å, respectively. Their specially designed large pore volume enables high separation capacity, leading to high resolution.
