Description

General description

BSA in mixture with TMCS helps in derivatization of unhindered and moderately hindered hydroxyl groups.

Application

It was used for concentrating and derivatizing the surface sediment samples, in order to give TMS ethers which can be injected to GC without interference during coprostanol determination.

Other Notes

Reagent for pentafluorobenzoyl, trimethylsilyl (TMS), trimethylsilyl diglyceride and trimethylsilyl oximes.
