Environmental
Meptyldinocap is a protectant, curative and eradicant dinitrophenol fungicide, a single isomer of dinocap and active against powdery mildew mainly on fruit and other crops. It has a low aqueous solubility, it is volatile and, based on its chemical properties, is unlikely to leach to groundwater. As per the regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 it is approved for use as plant protection product in the European Union. Maximum residuel levels (MRLs) have been set for meptyldinocap (sum of 2,4 DNOPC and 2,4 DNOP expressed as meptyldinocap) according Reg. (EU) No 2021/1864 for various products of plant and animal origin from 0.01 - 0.5 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
