Application

Dimethanamid-P is a soil-applied pre-emergence herbicide often used to control annual grasses, broad-leaved weeds and sedges, e.g. soybeans, beans, onion, cabbage. It is highly soluble in water ans has a low volatility. Under Reg. (EC) No 1107/2009 dimethenamid-P is approved for it′s use in the European Union as a plant protection product. Maximum residue levels (MRLs) for dimethenamid including other mixtures of constituen isomers including dimethenami-P (sum of isomers) according Reg. (EU) 2019/1791 have been set for various products of plant and animal origin in the range of 0.01 - 0.05 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
