Application

Desmethyl-pirimicarb is a metabolite of pirimicarb. Pirimicarb is an carbamate insecticide for aphid control in a wide range of crops, such as wheat, potatoes, fruits, cotton tobacco. As per regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 pirimicarb is approved for its use as plant protection product in the European Union (EU). Maximum residue levels (MRLs) are set according toe Reg. (EU) 2016/71 for various products of plant and animal origin for pirimicarb from 0.01 to 15 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
