Application

Cinmethylin is a selective, pre-emergince herbicide used mainly for rice and cereal crops. It is moderately soluble in water, is quite volatile and, based on its chemical properties, it is non-mobile and would not be expected to leach to groundwater. Cinmethylin is not listed in the European Union pesticide database.
