Application

Environmental
Molinate is a selective thiocarbamate herbicide used to control germinating broad-leaved and grassy weeds in paddy filds and on some other crops. It is highly soluble and persistent in water. It is not approved according to Reg. (EC) No 1107/2009 for use as a plant protection product in the European Union. Maximum residue levesl (MRLs) for molinate have been set accroding to Reg. (EU) 2019/91 for various products of plant and animal origin in the range of 0.01 - 0.05 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
