Application

Halfenprox is an insecticide and acaricide used to control mites and other insects in vegetables and fruits such as pears, papayas, citrus and tea. Under regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 halfenprox is not approved for use as a plant protection product in the European Union. A default maximum residue levels (MRLs) of 0.01 mg/kg has been set according to reg (EU) 396/2005. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
