Application

Bistrifluron is an insecticide used to control chewing pests. It is not very soluble in water, volatile and, based on its chemical properties, it is non-mobile with a low poetential to leach to groundwater. It is not listed in the EU Pesticides Database and not approved for use as a plant protection product in the European Union. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
