General description

Plastic additive 12 enhances the physical properties of plastics used in biologic drug packaging. By improving flexibility and preventing material degradation, it helps maintain the structural integrity of biologics during storage and distribution. As a USP reference standard, this additive is essential for ensuring the safety and stability of biologics throughout their lifecycle.

The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) provides quality standards for biologics to ensure their safety, efficacy, and quality throughout the manufacturing process. These standards assist manufacturers in adhering to regulatory requirements and help safeguard public health by reducing risks associated with biologics.
